Winter Swim
Program Focus:
Our goal is to develop swimmers with a good foundation of competitive swimming
skills in a fun and supportive environment. Competitive swimming is a great
individual sport that builds confidence, fitness, and lifelong friendships!
Our focus throughout the season is stroke technique of all four competitive strokes,
starts, and turns. Our goal is to provide the athletes with a strong foundation of
competitive swimming fundamentals so they can be successful at the USS , High
School, and Collegiate Levels if they choose that path.

- Stroke Clinics for an additional fee at noon.

Training Groups
Training Groups will be determined the first workout, and will be adjusted as needed throughout the season.
- Little Rays I
Entry Level 6 & Under Swimmers who can complete 25 yards kicking flutter kick without stopping , and comfortable on back kicking. - Little Rays II
8 & Under - Blue I
Seasoned 6 year olds, 7 & 8 year olds who are swimming free and back multiple lengths of the pool. - Blue II
Seasoned 7 & 8 year olds and 9 & 10 year olds - Gold IA
Experienced swimmers in the 10 & Under Group - Gold IB
Experienced swimmers in the 10 & Under Group - Gold II
9 & 10 (most experienced), 11 & 12 - Junior 1
1 & 12, 13 & 14 More Experienced - Senior
13 & Older Most Experienced
